Melinda Chacon and Kyle Ledbetter Wedding

Here's our star-crossed story of how we came together and haven't separated since: 

On the fateful night of March 19th, 2005, we were both convinced to go out on the town with our friends.  Neither of us were really "in the mood" for the Austin downtown scene on that particular night, but fate had other things in mind.  Each group was destined for the trendy bar, Oslo, which unfortunately has changed names to Hi-Lo.

 Mistaking Melinda as part of his group, Kyle approached Melinda.  Unknowingly, Melinda has seen Kyle from across the bar and positioned herself next to him.  This was the beginning of Melinda's kindness in letting Kyle think he was in control, as she has and will continue for the rest of their lives.

As we exchanged last names, Melinda let Kyle know that she was well aware of the Pearl Jam song entitled "Yellow Ledbetter".  Melinda also let Kyle know that she too was excited for the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode III (tragically, as we all know, the movie was a blunder, but it still helped kindle the fire).  Numbers were exchanged, and each parted their separate ways.

Unwilling to follow normal 2-day protocal for making the initial phone call, Kyle threw caution to the wind and called Melinda the next day.  Melinda let Kyle hang in anticipation and decided to not take the call.  Kyle waited anxiously, as the excitement was unbearable.  Melinda called the next day and the rest is history.
