Welcome to our wedding site!

Unconventional in every respect, the wedding of Melinda Leticia Chacon and Kyle Wesley Ledbetter will be an entire weekend of love, fellowship, and fun. 

We will be wed in New Braunfels, TX on March 29th, 2008.  We've chosen a location that will allow us to stay together with our family and friends throughout the weekend. 

Here's our star-crossed story of how we came together and haven't separated since: 

On the fateful night of March 19th, 2005, we were both convinced to go out on the town with our friends.  Neither of us were really "in the mood" for the Austin downtown scene on that particular night, but fate had other things in mind.  Each group was destined for the trendy bar, Oslo, which unfortunately has changed names to Hi-Lo.

 Mistaking Melinda as part of his group, Kyle approached Melinda.  Unknowingly, Melinda has seen Kyle from across the bar and positioned herself next to him.  This was the beginning of Melinda's kindness in letting Kyle think he was in control, as she has and will continue for the rest of their lives.
